Scarlett has made a list. Unfortunately, one man appears to be missing several departments.

Her ideal man is ambitious, financially competent, romantic, excellent in bed, capable in a kitchen, useful around a house, devoted to his children, generous with flowers, and sufficiently civilized to understand that “nothing” is sometimes a highly technical answer.

A reasonable request.

At least until the list gets longer.

The Ideal Man is a sharp, playful cabaret song about assembling the perfect partner feature by feature—provider, lover, cook, father, romantic—until Scarlett finally discovers the practical solution.

Why insist on finding all of that in one man?

Perfection is possible.
