Chicago Bachelors — Scarlett Sky — Chicago Gang Swing

Chicago Bachelors — Scarlett Sky

Chicago Bachelors is a swaggering Chicago swing number about men with good suits, bad habits, expensive nights, and absolutely no urgency to become respectable.

Set among clubs, card tables, whiskey glasses, late trains, rented rooms, and the kind of friendships built after midnight, the song treats bachelorhood as its own little Chicago institution. They have money when they have it, trouble when they find it, and enough confidence to believe tomorrow will somehow sort itself out.

Brassy, cocky, and darkly comic, Chicago Bachelors belongs to Scarlett Sky’s Chicago Gang Swing collection — original songs inspired by old Chicago, told through cabaret noir, swing rhythm, sharp characters, and a modern point of view.
