FOUR KINGS, FOUR KINGDOMS — Heart Trumps — Scarlett Sky

FOUR KINGS, FOUR KINGDOMS — Scarlett Sky

Four kings crossed her table. None of them owned the whole deck.

The King of Hearts brought warmth and tenderness.
The King of Diamonds brought money, beauty, and choices.
The King of Clubs brought movement, risk, and a wider world.
The King of Spades brought loss, silence, and the kind of knowledge that leaves a mark.

Four Kings, Four Kingdoms is about the different things love can teach through different people. Not every relationship is meant to last forever. Some leave comfort. Some leave freedom. Some leave scars. Some simply change the size of the world.

By the end, she has not kept any kingdom—but every king has left her a card.

Romantic, reflective, slightly sharp, and built around the four suits as four different forms of experience.

From the album Heart Trumps — Scarlett Sky.

For: love songs with a little intelligence, card-table imagery, complicated relationships, and anyone who knows that one person can change your life without becoming your whole life.
